2018/19 Loanees!

As I announced in the summer, I will be covering some of the young Real Madrid loanees during the 2018/19 season. This is predominantly to add a bit of excitement to my own season, most of which has been lost during the past two seasons consisting of just watching Castilla. I have missed the old players and look forwards to being able to watch them again in their new surroundings. Of course, I also think this will be a great help for you guys, some of whom may not be able to watch yourselves or that might just want to see some loan reports. I will be actively tweeting about these selected loanees and more! Loanee reports will be written up and hopefully released on ManagingMadrid every month, and I will also be looking to discuss this topic on the podcast that I record with Kiyan. Kiyan also watches his fair share of Madrid loanee football, so it will be an excellent platform to share thoughts and opinions.

Now, how is it going to work? I have selected a number of players by hand, and I will be placing them into categories of interest. The golden category will receive the most attention, followed by Silver, Bronze and finally White. Do note, the categories are decided due to a number of variable factors. Of course popularity of the player comes into it, but also things like league standard, first team chances, availability of match coverage. That's why any Segunda B loans will automatically be put into the White class. I am open to further suggestions of players to include, such as Rodrygo or other players out on loan etc.
